1️⃣ Internal Review & Scholarship
Application
📍 Key Points:
Submit your application form to
your department office. If you plan to apply for a Dual Degree, please consult your department office beforehand to
confirm your credit study and transfer
plan.
💰 Scholarship: Taiwanese Students are eligible for both Ministry of Education (MOE) and ISU scholarships. Overseas Students are eligible for ISU scholarships.

💡 Note : Passing the internal review is the initial requirement for both Exchange and Dual Degree programs.
2️⃣ Nomination &
Application
- Key Points:Once you pass the internal review, ISU will nominate you.
Please follow the instructions to complete the partner university’s online
application form.
3️⃣ Review & Invitation
- Key Points:The partner university will issue an "Invitation
Letter" or "Letter of Acceptance" after reviewing your
application. This is a crucial document for your visa application!
4️⃣ Acceptance
Confirmation
- Key Points: Upon receiving your acceptance, please log in to the partner
university's system to confirm your admission and begin both internal and
external administrative procedures.
5️⃣ Visa & Travel
Key Points: Apply for your exchange student/student visa at the relevant representative office in Taiwan using your official admission documents.
6️⃣ Pre-departure Preparation
- Key Points:Attend pre-departure orientations organized by ISU and the
partner university, and coordinate with the host school regarding
accommodation, insurance, and course registration.

Please ensure your total credits earned abroad meet the following minimum requirements:

a higher minimum credit requirement, you must follow the host university's
regulations.
