Post-Graduate Internship Application

The Ministry of Education in Taiwan, in order to enhance interaction between overseas Chinese, Hong Kong and Macao, and international students (hereinafter referred to as international students) and various sectors in Taiwan, including industry, academia, and research, as well as to expand international connections and strengthen the pool of international talent, is implementing the Regulations Regarding Study and Counseling Assistance for Overseas Compatriot Students in Taiwan.
Overseas Chinese and foreign students in Taiwan who have not had a household registration have one of the following qualifications and have obtained the consent of the proposed internship organization in accordance with the provisions of the third point (including the content of the internship, allowances and duration, etc.) should apply to the school for post-graduation internship no later than two months before the expiration of the residency period:

  1. The student will receive a master's degree or higher in the semester of graduation and has not withdrawn from the program during the semester.
  2. Graduates with a university degree in the semester of graduation and has not withdrawn from the program during the semester, and has a total academic average of at least 70 points in the previous year, and has been recommended in writing by the head of the department in which he/she is enrolled.
  3. The student will receive a bachelor's degree or higher in the semester of graduation, and during the semester, he/she has participated in international or national skill competitions or technology exhibitions and received awards, or has demonstrated exceptional performance in other fields, and has been recommended in writing by the school or a credible institution in China.
  4. Those who can obtain a bachelor's degree or higher in the semester of graduation, who have not withdrawn during the semester, and who have passed the first stage of the national examination for physicians and applied for general medical training.
