A:When international students enroll, the ISU Scholarship Review Committee will review their qualifications and the amount of scholarship that will be granted.
A:BS: 4 times; MS: 2 times; PHD: 3 times.

1. Overseas Freshman: Around NTD 40,000 to NTD 175,000 (granted in 2 terms)
2. Overseas Prospective Students;NTD 10,000 to exemption from the tuition and other required fees(granted by terms).
A:Foreign students applying for school foreign student scholarships must have the following qualifications:
1.For Overseas Freshman:
Before you apply for enrollment, the ISU Scholarship Review Committee will grant scholarship by assessing the ratio of students' application.
*Scholar who's granted scholarship for a year and above (Scholar who meets the requirement will be able to get the scholarship on the consecutive semester):
a) Your average score of the semester must be within 40% of your class.
b) You have a 85 and above score for behavior of conduct.
2. Foreign students:
* A full year of enrollment, and ranked within 40% of the whole class for the semester.
* A score of 85 and above for behavior of conduct last semester
* Have at least 2 courses of Selective Classes last semester.
A:The application times is as below:
1. For Overseas Freshman :
* Before your application for enrollment, you must apply before the dates of closing for application for either Spring/Fall semester.
* Scholarship for a year and above will need to apply at First Week of June and Last week of December at OICA.
2. For Overseas Prospective Student :
* Apply at First week of June and the Last week of December at OICA.
A:To apply for scholarships and bursaries for foreign students, you need to prepare the following documents:
1. For Freshman:
* Before admission:
a) Application Form
b) Photocopy of your own Resume
c) Chinese or English Recommendation Letter
d) Other proof of your curriculum
e) Proof of Grades for your highst education which is either in Chinese or English.
2. For Prospective student:
* Since 2019, Degree students will not need to hand in application forms, OICA will be collecting results from the school and the asses from there. If you have any certification for Volunteer and Service Hours, do bring over to OICA for futhur assesment.
* Due to variations of performance that Master's and PhD students have, they will have to apply via the original process. Require documents are as such :
a) Application form
b) Proof of Semester's Result and Behavior of Conduct
c) PhD Students will have other results as assessment
d) Proof for Overseas Volunteering
e) Service Education Hours Verifications
A:Yes. There will be a verification for the Service Education Hours every semester. Students are recommended to head over to OICA for more information.
A:OICA will assist you in redeeming the School Material Fee and Insurance with other payments along. If your scholarship is insufficient to cover the full payment, student is required to pay the balance.
A:Students will be disqualified if:
* Freshman has not completed registration/ apply for school transfer
* 9 Weeks within the Start of Semester is below 70%
* Have a note for punishment
* The behavior of conduct of the semester before is 85% and below
A:Student should pay in time. If not, there is a possibility that you will be sent back to your country.
